Windows 8: Add Russian keyboard
If you want to add a Russian keyboard in Windows 8, you must first download and install the Cyrillic alphaphet via the Control Panel. We'll show you how.
Add Russian keyboard in Windows 8
- Simultaneously press the "Windows + X" keys and click on "Control Panel" in the selection menu.
- Under "Time, language and region" select the option "Add language". Here you will find an overview of all available keyboard layouts.
- Then click on "Add language" in the top left corner.
- Find the entry "Russian" in the list and confirm by right-clicking the "Add" button.
- Then open the options and download the language using the item "Download and install language pack".
- After installation, click "Set as primary language". After a restart you can use the Russian keyboard.
