Windows 8 and 10: Start Autostart directly
In Windows 8 and 10, the programs are only loaded with a delay when they are started automatically. We will show you how to do this directly and avoid unnecessary waiting times.
Windows 8/10: Start Autostart entries without delay
- Press the [Windows] and [R] keys simultaneously so that the "Execute" command opens.
- Enter the "regedit" command here and confirm with "OK". Then the registry editor starts.
- Navigate to the following path on the right: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Serialize".
- If the "Serialize" folder does not yet exist, right-click on the "Explorer" folder and create a new key with the name "Serialize".
- Right-click on an empty area and select a "DWORD value (32-bit)" under "New".
- Name the value "StartupDelayInMSec" and leave the value already set to 0.
- Close the window with the "OK" button and restart Windows. The autostart entries are then loaded without delay.
