Encrypt Windows backups - how it works

Windows: this is how backup encryption works
- First make a backup in your Windows version.
- Then download and install the free Gpg4win program.
- After successful installation, navigate to the location of your backup.
- Then right-click on the folder where the backup is located.
- Alternatively, you can select all of the backed up data before continuing.
- Then right-click on the folder or the selected files and select "Properties".
- Select the "Advanced" button under "General" and then click on "Advanced Attributes". Activate the option "Encrypt content to protect data" and confirm with "OK".
