The first thing to try is to disable the driver signature. If drivers are not signed by Microsoft, this can lead to hardware problems. However, you have the option of switching off the driver signature check.
- If you are using a significantly older computer or an older operating system such as Windows 7, Vista and XP, you have to open the "advanced start options" and select the option "Disable driver signature enforcement". To do this, press the [F8] key repeatedly when you start the computer.
- On Windows 10 and 8, you have to open the advanced startup options in other ways. Select the "Startup Settings" and click "Restart". Then you can also select the option "Deactivate driver signature enforcement".
