View files in Windows in the console
When navigating through folders using Windows Command Prompt, you can view the files in the following steps:
- Open the Windows command line by clicking the Windows icon in the bottom left of the menu bar and entering "cmd". Confirm with the Enter key to open the console.
- In the terminal, navigate to the folder whose files you want to see.
- Enter "dir" You get an overview of the files in the console. (see the screenshot)
- If you add the parameter "/ O / N" to the command, ie write "dir / O / N", the console sorts the output by name.
- You can see hidden files by using the console parameter "/ A / AH".
