Process canceled due to restrictions under Windows - so you solve the problem
This error message is incorrect registry entries in both Windows 7 and Windows 8:
- Start "Run" using the key combination [Windows] + [R].
- Enter "regedit" in the field and confirm with [Enter] to start the registry editor.
- Open the first key "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" here.
- Then navigate to the entry ".htm" and right click on "Standard". Simply enter "htmlfile" as the "Value".
- Repeat this process for the entries ".html", ".mdbhtml", ".mht", ".mhtml", ".shtm", ".shtml" and ".stm".
- The value "htmlfile" must be entered here as the "standard value".
- Once you have done this, restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
