Windows DVD Maker: insert background music
With Windows DVD Maker you can quickly create a DVD and add background music to the menu. We'll show you how it works.
Insert background music with Windows DVD Maker
You can either use the Windows DVD Maker to sound the menu of a DVD or have music played during a slide show:
- Menu sound: After you have compiled your media for the DVD, you can adjust the menu by clicking on "Next". To do this, click on "Customize menu" in the menu bar. Now insert your music in the "Menu sound" area.
- Slideshow: If you want to insert music in the background of a slideshow, click on "Slideshow" in the menu bar. With "Add Music" you can create your own playlist. You can also add multiple songs - you choose the order. So that the music doesn't suddenly stop, you can "adjust the slide show length to the music length". Alternatively, the display duration of the images can be adjusted.
When you have finished your DVD, you can still create a DVD cover with Word.
