How to add a new user on Windows
In order to set up a user account, you must be logged on as administrator:
- Click on "Start" and go to the "Control Panel".
- Under "User Accounts and Protection of Minors" you will find the item "Add / Remove User Accounts".
- At the bottom click on the entry "Create new account". You can also activate a "guest account" here.
- Enter an account name and choose whether you want it to be a "standard user" or "administrator".
- Then click on "Create account".
Configure the new user account
Now you can give the new user a password, set up parental controls or change their profile picture:
- Click the newly created user. You can find the account by following points one and two from the first section.
- On the left you will see the options. Click on an entry to customize the account.
