Windows: Format hard disk in EXT3
You need an additional tool to format your hard disk in Windows into Linux format EXT3. We'll show you how.

Note that all data on your hard drive will be lost when formatting.
- Download the free tool "GParted Live" on your PC and install it.
- Then start the program.
- After successfully setting up the tool, locate and right click on the hard drive you want to format.
- In the context menu, select "Format to" or "Format to" and then "EXT3". With a click on "Apply" the desired hard disk is formatted in EXT3.,
