Windows: Recover deleted videos with Recuva
If you've accidentally deleted a video, don't worry. We'll tell you how to get the file back:
- Download and install the free "Recuva" tool.
- If you open the program, a wizard will start automatically. Click on "Next" here.
- The first step is to choose what type of file you want to restore. Select the "Video" option here.
- In the next step, you specify where you last saved or deleted the file. Then you can start the search by clicking on "Start".
- If no results were found, you can repeat the search with the more thorough "deep scan". The results then appear in a list.
- Mark the videos you want to retrieve and click "Recover". Finally, enter the path in which the new files are to be saved.
