Disable Windows Live Services

If you do not need the Windows Live services, it makes sense to deactivate them so that they do not start with every PC start. In this practical tip, we will show you how to deactivate these services.
Find the appropriate services to disable
To find and deactivate the Windows Live services, proceed as follows:
- Press WINDOWS + R and type "services.msc" in the box and press OK.
- Find the services "Windows Live Family Safety Service" and "Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant" below.
- Double-click on the respective service.
- Select "Disabled" or "Manual" under Startup type.
- If you do not currently need the program, you can set these services to "Disabled". If you need the program frequently, it is recommended to set the services to "Manual".
