Remove album art in Windows Media Player
You cannot properly remove album art using Windows Media Player. However, you can delete your own cover.
- Open Windows Media Player and navigate to the desired song or album. Alternatively, you can also start a song directly from Explorer.
- Now you need the cover or just a white picture. This must either be on your computer or on the network. Right-click either on the image file on your computer or on the cover in the browser and select "Copy".
- Now right-click in Windows Media Player on the cover of the title or album. Select the "Change album graphics" option there.
- The cover is now changed to the copied image. If the option is not displayed, copy it again. Only images in BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG or TIFF format are also supported.
