Windows Movie Maker: Share movie with email
In "Windows Movie Maker" you can release and send finished films by email. We show you how this works in this brief practical tip.
Share movie from Windows Movie Maker via email
With the "Windows Movie Maker" you can trim your videos, set them to music and add effects. You can then share your finished film on platforms such as "YouTube", "Facebook" or send it by email:
- Start the "Windows Movie Maker" on your computer.
- Import your finished film that you would like to share via email.
- Click on the small black arrow in the menu bar at the top of the "Save movie" option.
- Under "General Settings" select the function "For E-Mail" (see screenshot).
- Determine the location for your movie and give it a name. Confirm with "Save".
- Now open your e-mail program and insert your film saved specifically for e-mails as an attachment. Now you can send your film by email. Note that some mail providers limit the file size of attachments.
If your videos are too large, you can also export the files as MP4.
