Standard gateway not available on Windows - what to do?
- First try restarting your router and then try connecting to the internet again.
- If you are using a WLAN connection, try connecting a LAN cable. If the error no longer appears, you should update your WLAN driver.
- With a WLAN connection, you should always make sure that you have entered the correct network with the appropriate access data.
- In some cases, the firewall and antivirus software can be responsible for this error message. Therefore, switch both services off briefly to test this.
- If you use a WLAN stick, there may be a defect in the USB connection, which is why the message appears. So try a different USB port.
- In many cases it is sufficient to disconnect the router from the power supply for approx. 10 seconds and then try again.
- There may be a problem with the LAN cable. Therefore, replace it and try again.
