Windows Store doesn't work - what to do?
When searching for or installing apps from the Windows Store, it may stop working or the installation may fail with an error message. A little trick often helps.
Clear the Windows store cache
Before trying other measures such as custom system startup, first clear the Windows Store cache. Most of the time this solves the problem.
- To do this, switch to the tile view and type in "WSReset.exe" directly.
- Right-click on the individual app and select the "Run as administrator" option below.
- Confirm the action with »Yes«.
- The Windows Store then reports that the cache has been cleared. Now you can try the installation again.
