Windows taskbar disappeared - what to do?
If your Windows taskbar has disappeared, you can quickly get it back. We show you how to do this with this practical tip.
How to get your missing Windows taskbar back
If you can no longer see your taskbar, it is because it was accidentally hidden:
- Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen - to the place where your taskbar is normally located. You should now be able to see the taskbar again.
- If the taskbar is visible, right-click on it and select the last item, the "Settings". Now you will see the taskbar settings in a new window (see screenshot).
- To make the taskbar visible again, you have to remove the tick in the second box "Automatically hide the taskbar" by clicking.
- Then click on "Ok" and your taskbar will be permanently visible again.
- Tip: You can also hide the taskbar in the opposite way. This is recommended, for example, if you need more desktop space.
Numerous documents can be attached to the Windows taskbar. If it is not possible to attach it to the taskbar, you will find out in another practical tip what it could be.
