Reassign Windows keys: Here's how
If you want to give a new function to Windows keys that have not previously been used, you can reassign them with a small tool. We'll show you how it works.
How to reassign keys on Windows
- Install the free tool "SharpKeys".
- Then open "SharpKeys" and click on "Add". Here you have to select a button in the left field and click the new function in the right.
- Confirm the changes with "Ok" and "Write to Registry".
- After a restart, you can use the new functions.
- Note that some keys are mandatory - for example, "Del" to log in after the computer has started up.
We show you here how to completely deactivate the Windows key.
