Windows: Update the driver manually - so it'll work
If a device does not work properly under Windows, this may be due to the driver. You can update the relevant drivers manually to solve the problem. We'll show you how in our practical tip.
Update driver manually: Device manager
- Open the control panel.
- Start the device manager, located under "Hardware and Sound".
- Here, look for the device that is not working and right click on it.
- Select the "Update Driver Software" option.
- If you already have the driver software on your PC, select "Check my computer for driver software". Otherwise, let Windows automatically search for the drivers.
- If a newer version of the driver is found, it will either be installed automatically or the installation program will start for you.
Driver update not via the device manager
