Windows XP: Automatic registration - how it works

In order not to have to log in after every PC start, Windows XP offers an automatic login. We'll show you how to activate them quickly and easily.
The automatic login under Windows XP
In Windows XP, you can activate the automatic login in just three steps:
- Start "Run" with the key combination [Windows] + [R] and enter "control userpasswords2" in the "Open" field.
- The "User Accounts" window opens in which you can remove the check from the single box with a click. How to disable the "Users must enter user name and password" command.
- If you save the change with a click on "Apply", a window for "automatic login" opens automatically. Enter the data of the user who should be automatically logged on when the computer starts. Clicking "OK" in this and the "User Accounts" window saves the settings.
