How to prepare for customs clearance on your Wish order
Since customs needs information about the purchase price to determine the tax and customs fees, it often starts with the amount shown on the address label. However, since incorrect information is often given there, it can be preloaded at customs.
- The total cost of the order is calculated in euros, including postage and packaging costs.
- Bring a printed proof with you, from which the purchase price actually paid can be read. A screen capture is also sufficient.
- If you cannot provide this evidence, it can be expensive, because then the customs are based on the value of the goods, which is common in this country.
- You can also refuse to accept the goods at the customs office if the taxes and fees incurred significantly increase the purchase price.
