In The Witcher 3, you can farm mutagens to give Geralt health and sorcerer bonuses. This practical tip shows you how to use mutagens and, above all, where you can find them. With this you will survive against every monster.

- In your character window you have four slots for mutagens, which are unlocked gradually as the level increases.
- When you equip a mutagen, you get bonuses for it. There are three different colors and three different sizes: small, normal and large.
- If you combine the mutagens with skills from the corresponding skill tree, the bonuses are all the higher.
- Red mutagens increase attack power. Depending on the size, there is a bonus of five, seven or ten percent. A large mutagen combined with three red skills increases your attack power by 40 percent.
- Green mutagens increase your vitality by 50, 100 or 150. You can get a vitality bonus of 600 with skill combination.
- Blue mutagens bring a bonus to the intensity of the drawing. The bonus is either five, seven or ten percent. You can use skills to increase your drawing intensity by 40 percent.
Mutagens farm in The Witcher 3: The localities
You can only get mutagens from a few retailers. They are therefore mainly dependent on drops from monsters.
- Small red mutagen: mainly dropped by harpies. You can usually find harpies on Skellige. They usually guard smaller islands.
