- First click on the Windows start button in "Windows 7" at the bottom left and then under "Control Panel" go to the option "Network and Internet".
- Open the "Network and Sharing Center" here and select the "Manage wireless networks" function on the left. A list with your personal WiFi networks opens.
- Select your WiFi network and then right-click on it.
- Now go to "Properties" in the pop-up menu that opens and then click on "Security" in the header of the new window.
- Check the "Show characters" option so that you can read your encrypted WLAN password under "Security key". Now you can work with your WiFi password again and on the net. Remove the checkmark again as soon as you have noted down your WLAN password.
