World Cup group stage: How to follow the draw live
The group draw for the group stage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia will take place on Friday, December 1st, 2017 at 4 p.m. in the concert hall of the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
- The drawing will be broadcast live by ZDF as part of the program Sport Extra. From 4:15 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. you can watch the group stage draw on TV or in the live stream.
- We recommend the live ticker from Focus Online so that you can follow live which group opponents will be drawn to the German team, even without picture and sound. This way you can find out in real time who has to compete against whom in the 2018 World Cup.
- 32 teams will be drawn into eight different groups. The German national team is in Lot 1, but there are strong opponents like Spain, Uruguay or England.
- The 2018 World Cup itself begins on June 14, 2018.
