To configure the Windows Firewall, you have to open the settings of it. The firewall protects you against unwanted incoming connections.
Windows 10: Here you will find the firewall settings
- First open the Control Panel. You can find this in the start menu.
- If you select the "System and Security" category here, you will find the "Windows Firewall" there.
- All the required settings can be found on the left.

- Move the mouse to the right edge of the screen and click on "Search". Enter "Control Panel" here and select the app of the same name.
- Click on "System and Security" in the control panel at the top left.
- Here you will find the item "Windows Firewall".
