Where can I find the signature in Mail (Mac)?
With a mail signature on Mac, you can insert any text blocks into e-mails by default. We'll show you where to find the signatures in mail here.
Here you can find the signature settings for Mail on Mac
To set up a signature on MacOS, do the following for Apple Mail version 8.2:
- Open Mail and click on "Mail"> "Settings ..." in the menu bar or use the shortcut "cmd" + ", ".
- Switch to the "Signatures" tab. Here you can see the signature set for each email account.
- To create a signature, click on the corresponding mail account and then on "+" below.
- Name the signature if necessary - eg "private" or "business" - and enter the signature text in the right field.
- You can then choose which signature should be used by default.
Tip: Instead of mail, you can also use the popular, extensive email client "Thunderbird" on MacBook and Mac.
