Word: 5 useful addons
In this practical tip, we present five useful add-ons for MS Office Word, which are also free of charge.
Addon: integrate fold and hole marks in Word
- Thanks to the freeware "Fold and Hole Mark Assistant" you can easily insert fold and hole marks into your Word document.
- You can find the extension in the "SmartTools" menu.
- You can enter any punch or fold marks here. There are also plenty of templates that you can use right away.
Insert diagrams in Word using an addon
- With "Lucidchart" you can quickly and easily insert diagrams into Word.
- For example, you can create and edit flow and tree diagrams as well as all process diagrams.
- With the paid version, there are even more designs and online storage - however, the freeware is sufficient in most cases.
Office extension: create helpful todo lists
- Thanks to "TaskIt" you won't forget anything in the future.
- With the small and simple tool, you can create your own todo lists with just a few clicks - for the next purchase, for example.
- You can then either print out the to-do list or process it directly on the PC and mark it as done: simply click in the relevant box to tick off the relevant task.
Integrated add-on calculator for Word
- If you work a lot with mathematical formulas, the "WordCalc" tool is just right for you.
- The addon works like a small calculator that is integrated in Word.
- Simply enter a mathematical expression in the tool or select it - the application does the rest and automatically gives you the result values.
Insert word clouds in MS Word
- With the add-on "LingulLab word cloud" you insert a so-called word cloud in your document.
- The extension finds out the most important and most common words in your document and displays them larger in the cloud than others.
- It is also ideal for search engine relevant keywords.
