Word: How to get checkered sheets
Sometimes checkered sheets are just more practical. In this practical tip, we will tell you how you can get a checkered sheet instead of the otherwise blank white sheet in MS Word's word processor.
Create a checkered sheet in Word in four steps
The following description was created with MS Office 2010, but is very similar in the other versions of Office.
- In the menu bar, click on the "Page layout" tab.
- Then go to the "Arrange" area, which you will find on the far right.
- Under "Arrange" you choose the "Align" option.
- Under "Align" select the second point from the bottom "Show grid lines" and you already have a checkered sheet.
