- Navigate to "Add-Ins" under "Insert" and then click on "Get Add-Ins". Now look for the "Pro Word Cloud" add-in in the new menu.
- After installing the add-in for free, you can generate a Word Cloud from any selected text in a slide.
- If you cannot find the add-in, search for it via »Insert« -> »Add-Ins« -> »My Add-Ins« -> »Show All«.
- You can save the Word Cloud you have created either in the manufacturer's cloud or by right-clicking on your computer. We would recommend the second way as the cloud is accessible to everyone.
A picture is worth a thousand words
A word cloud is an arrangement of words. These are weighted in order to clarify their value and connections between them.
- The central word is in the middle and is written the largest.
- The other words are arranged around it, whereby weightings and relationships can also be taken into account here.
- If a word often occurs with another in a sentence, an algorithm would link them and put them closer together.
- Articles and non-relevant words should be excluded if possible.
