Word: Create a to-do list - how it works
In Word you can easily create a to-do list. We'll show you which two methods make this easy.
Create to-do list - without any addon
This method is particularly suitable if you are using older versions of Word. You do not need to install an extension for this:
- Select your list and select the "Bullets" option under "Paragraph".
- So that you also have check boxes, under "Bullets" click on "Define new bullets".
- Select "Symbol" here. To select a suitable box from the list, double-click it.
Pro tip: Free add-on "Taskit"
If you are using the latest version of Word, you should use the TaskIt addon.
- The free TaskIt addon allows you to easily create a to-do list with just a few clicks.
- Simply enter the title or a description and press "Enter".
In the next article we will show how to insert footnotes in Word.
