Word: Assign documents to a printer - how it works
This practical tip reads how you can assign documents to a printer in MS Office Word.
Assign Word documents to a printer
Note: These instructions are based on MS Office Word 2013.
- Switch to the "View" tab and click on the arrow at "Macros". Select "Record Macro" here.
- Enter any name for the macro.
- Now select under "File" and "Print" the printer with which the document should be printed. Then start printing.
- Switch back to the "View" tab and the arrow at "Macros". Select the "Stop recording" entry to end the macro recording.
- When you click on "Macros", all existing macros are displayed. Double-click the name of the macro you just created to print the file.
