Word: Set up the same footer on every page - how it works
Business and other professional documents almost always have a footer. So that you do not have to label each page individually, we will show you below how to set up the footer on every page.
- Open the desired Word document, select the "Insert" tab and then the "Footer".
- Now you can select ready-made designs for page numbers or click on "Edit footer" below to write your own text in the footer.
- The editing mode opens. Here you can now enter text in the footer. It is automatically repeated on all pages.
- Tip: Under the "Design" tab, you can optionally edit the footer on the first page separately and independently of the others, or design even and odd pages differently.
