Word: Count graphics or images
- There is no direct way to count graphics in Word. However, you can make it easy for yourself.
- To do this, save the document as an html file. To do this, click on the Office icon in the top left and select "Save As".
- In the new dialog, select "html" under "File type" and then click on "Save".
- All graphics or images are now filtered from the document and saved separately in a folder.
- In this folder you can quickly overlook and easily count all the images in the document
- If you don't feel like counting or if the document simply contains too many pictures, then right-click on an empty space in the picture folder and select "Properties".
- Here you can read under "Contents" how many files - ie pictures - are in the folder.
