Word: Enter the Mü sign - how it works

Whether for physics formulas or units of measurement - you need the Mü symbol (µ) in many situations. This article shows you how to enter it in Word.

Enter the Mu symbol in Word

• Open a new document or file in Word.
• You can insert the Mü symbol using the key combinations [Alt Gr] + [M] or [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [M].
• You can now simply write "µm" instead of "micrometer".
