Word: How to write vertically
In MS Office Word you can also write texts vertically. In this practical tip, we will show you how to do it.
Write vertically in MS Office Word
- Start Word.
- Open the document you want to edit or create a new one.
- Click on "Text field" in the menu bar. Depending on the version of Word, you must then select the item "simple text field".
- Depending on the version of Word, now drag a text field with the mouse or simply click in the document to create a text field.
- Fill the text field with the desired text as usual.
- Now click on "Format" in the menu bar and select the "Right / left turn by 90 °" item to rotate the text. Alternatively, you can rotate the text field with the mouse. To do this, pull on the green point while holding down the Shift key until the text field is rotated by 90 °.
