Word: Print page in Din A5 - how it works
Whether for greeting cards or books - the Din A5 format is often superior to its big brother. This practical tip shows you how to print pages in Word in this format.
Word: Change page view to Din A5
In Word itself, you can change the page size to Din A5. To see how your text will appear immediately after printing:
- To do this, switch to the "Page layout" tab in Word.
- In the "Page Setup" section, click the small arrow in the lower right corner (see photo).
- In the new window, select the "Format" tab and set the "A5 148 x 210 mm" option under "Paper format".
- Finally confirm the change with "OK".
Print Din A5 pages with Word
Alternatively, you can change the page size just before printing:
- To do this, open the desired document and press the key combination [CTRL] + [P].
- The printer dialog opens. Click the "Properties" button here.
- Most printers have an option here that allows you to adjust the page size.
This practical tip relates to Word 2010. In other versions, the procedure may differ slightly. So that you don't lose too much space in Din A5 format, you can adjust the margins in Word later.
