Deleting a page from Word may seem cumbersome at first, but it's actually quite simple. This practical tip shows you how to remove a page from your document.
Delete page in Word: Set draft view
When deleting a page, always make sure that you are in the draft view. In the draft view, a page break is marked with a paragraph mark. If not, follow these steps:
- Go to "View" in the Word menu and look for "Draft".
- Click on "Draft" and you are in the draft view.
- If the paragraph mark is still not visible, open the menu again.
- Click on "Start" there and then select "Paragraph".
- Under "Paragraph" click on "Show / Hide".
Delete a blank page in Word
You have created a one-page document, but an empty page opens at the end of the last page.
- You can remove this by deleting the page break.
- Go to the bottom of the page and remove the page break with the [DEL] key.
- The blank page has already disappeared.
Delete a page with information in Word
You delete a filled page by removing the entire content of the page.
- Select any character on the page.
- Press [Ctrl] + [A] to select the entire content.
- Now press the [DEL] key, which will remove the entire content.
