Word table: Set the edge distance exactly - how it works
With Word, you can set the exact distance from the text to the edge of a table. In this article, we show you where you can set this margin.
Word table: Set the edge distance from the text to the table edge
You can specify this exactly in Word so that the text is the same distance from all pages in the cell. That's how it's done:
- Select the relevant cell (s) in the table and then click on "Layout" in the "Table Tools".
- Now select the "Cell boundaries" tile, which is located directly below.
- Now you can precisely define the boundaries for each border.
- Finally, confirm the changes by clicking "OK".
- Tip: You can still adjust the text position using the small fields in the same menu ("Align").
