If you want to temporarily redirect your visitors to another website, you can set up a redirect in WordPress. In this practical tip, we will tell you how to set up a redirect to another website in your WordPress backend.

Set up forwarding on WordPress - you have to do that

With the right plugin, you can set up a redirect from your WordPress website:

1. Download the WordPress plugin redirector.
2. Unzip the archive and copy the extracted folder into the "Plugins" directory on your server.
3. Now log into the Wordpress backend with your administrator data and switch to "Plugins".
4. Search the list of installed plugins for "Redirector" and click on "Activate" next to it.
5. To set up forwarding, click on the "Forwarding" box on the right-hand side when creating or editing a new page.
6. You can then redirect to an internal page on your website or to external websites.
