System requirements for World of Warcraft on a Windows computer
You need at least Windows XP as the operating system. Newer versions like Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are also supported.
- If you have installed an Intel processor, it should at least match the Intel Core 2 Duo E660 (2 * 2.4 GHz). For an AMD processor, it must at least be the AMD Phenom X3 8750.
- The lower system requirements for the graphics cards are with the various manufacturers with the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, the ATI Radeon HD 4850 and the Intel HD Graphics 3000.
- Your computer needs at least 2 GigaByte RAM and 35 GigaByte free space on the hard disk.
- The lowest resolution is 1024x768 pixels.
Play World of Warcraft on Mac OS: Your computer needs it
In addition to Windows, you can also play WoW on your Mac depending on your performance. For this, at least Mac OS X 10.8 should run as the operating system.
- Similar to the Windows system requirements, you need at least the Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
- The graphics card, if it is from Nvidia, should at least correspond to the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT. Alternatively, at least the ATI Radeon HD 4850 should be installed in your PC, or an Intel HD 4000 graphic.
- As with Windows, World of Warcraft requires two GigaByte RAM and 35 GigaByte hard disk space.
- As with other operating systems, the minimum resolution is 1024x768 pixels.
