XBOX 360: delete profile - how it works
Deleting your XBox360 profile is not difficult and only takes a few minutes. For example, you can save a lot of storage space. We will guide you through the individual settings.
Delete XBox360 profile - this is how you proceed
Profiles take up a relatively large amount of space on the XBox360, which is why it is advisable to delete old, unused profiles, especially when buying a used one:
- If you are logged in with the profile you want to delete, you must first log out: This works with the key combination [Guide] -Button + [X] on your controller.
- Then go to the "Settings" on the right of the dashboard or press the [Guide] button.
- Now click first on "System" and then on "Storage"
- Then select »All devices« and control the »Player profiles«.
- Now all you have to do is select the player profile to be deleted. You can decide whether you only want to delete the profile or all the scores and achievements associated with it. This can free up a lot of valuable storage space if the profile was not your own.
- Now you can also delete the system cache for security reasons. To do this, follow the steps above to point three, where you can select any storage device - one way or the other, the system memory will be completely deleted.
- Then press the [Y] button on your controller.
- Select "Clear system cache" and confirm again.
