Use XBOX One Controller on a Mac - Here's how
If you want to use your Xbox One controller on a Mac, all you need is the correct driver. We show you how and where you can find it.
Mac: Connect and use the Xbox One controller
- Download the "Xone-OSX" tool and install it on your Mac.
- Start the terminal and enter the command "sudo nvram boot-args = kext-dev-mode = 1".
- Confirm with [Enter], type in your administrator password and confirm again with the Enter key.
- Then restart your PC, connect the controller to the Mac via a cable and open the system settings.
- At the bottom you will find the new category "Xone Controller". In the "Controller" field, select "Controller1".
- If you wish, you can configure the controller as you like. Otherwise, it is now ready for use.
