Microsoft has released the November update for Xbox One. We present all new functions to you here.
Xbox One: Background images thanks to the November update
The November update also puts the user back in the foreground. Now you can finally set background images for each individual account on your Xbox One.
- In the settings you will already find various background images from Microsoft. Single-color graphics are also available.
- However, it becomes more personal with your own pictures. You can transfer images in JPG or PNG format to the Xbox One using a USB stick or DLNA and set them as the background.
Edit profile on Xbox One after the November update
- A lot has happened in your public profile too. If you want to reveal more about yourself, the location and a short biography can now be inserted.
- Your new profile also includes achievements and snapshots from games. You can publish up to six of your greatest successes.
Further innovations with the November update of Xbox One
- In the new section "What's On" you will find a trend view with the currently most watched TV shows. However, the feature is currently only available for the USA, Canada and Great Britain.
- Internet Explorer can now also be used in snap mode using a function in the address bar. This allows two apps to run side by side in parallel.
- Smart Glass now shows you a list of your friends who have played a game with Smart Glass Support for each game.
- The store has been cleaned up a bit, making it easier to find games and add-ons. The respective categories are in the store directly on the left.
- Another new feature is the connection of the Xbox Live account to Twitter. Among other things, you can share game videos on Xbox One on Twitter.
- The next update for Xbox One is expected to come in early 2015.
