Send in XBOX One: How to have the console repaired
If your XBOX One has a defect, you can simply send it in to have it repaired. We explain in this article how exactly you have to proceed.
Send in the XBOX One console and have it repaired
First of all, make sure that you can also repair the defect of your XBOX One yourself with the professional help of the XBOX customer service. If this cannot help you or you cannot correct the error yourself, you must send in your XBOX in an emergency. To do this, proceed as follows.
- To send your XBOX One in, you must first register your console. To do this, go to the Xbox Online Service Center website.
- Click on "Register device" under the heading "My devices". After that, you need to sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Next select "Service order" and just follow the instructions. Submit the order.
- You will then receive a confirmation email from the XBOX online service center, which contains an order number and important information on shipping / packaging. Note: Only ship your console and not your accessories.
- Now just print out the shipping label and stick it on the shipping box with your console. Send your package to customer service. If your console is still under warranty, you don't have to pay any shipping and repair fees. Note: Have your parcel handed over to you when you hand in your parcel and keep it in a safe place.
