If you want to go online with the XBOX One, there are online costs. In this overview we show how high these are and which functions you will receive for them.

If you only want to surf the Internet with your XBOX One or use streaming services such as Netflix and Co., there are no additional online costs. But it is different if you want to gamble online:
- For this, you need gold access to XBOX Live for almost all games. Microsoft itself costs 60 euros a year.
- Tip: With independent providers, you often get the subscription at a significantly lower price. Local markets such as Saturn often also offer discount voucher cards for XBOX Live. You can then convert the credit into a Gold membership.
- With Gold membership you can not only compete against other players online. Instead, you get many discounts in the XBOX online shop on games and DLCs. There are often certain games for free download.
- Note: XBOX Live membership applies to your Microsoft account, not your XBOX One. If you also have an XBOX 360, you only have to pay once.
