Magic tricks for children: magic to imitate
Children want to be amazed. With our magic tricks to imitate you will inspire the youngsters. You don't even need a magic hat for the magical moments.
Magic tricks for children: the magical orange
The first magic trick is very simple. You don't need any practice for this.
- It's about magically floating an orange between your hands.
- To do this, put a thumb in the orange and hold the fruit between your hands so that you can't see it.
- Now open your hands so that one hand is held a few centimeters above the orange. The orange is in the thumb of the other lower hand. This will lift the fruit a little so that the orange no longer touches the palm of your hand.
- The illusion arises that you could have the orange floating between your hands.
A glass dissolves in air - another magic for children
You perform this magic trick at a table, ideally sitting.
- Place an empty glass of water upside down on the table in front of all viewers.
- Now cover the magic glass with several layers of napkins. Make this part particularly theatrical, increase the tension.
- If the glass is well covered, smooth the napkins around the glass with both hands and push the glass back and forth on the table with both hands in a circle. Accompany this with a spell, the trick looks even more impressive.
- While moving the glass on the table in this way, at some point in between, move it to and over the edge of the table in front of you. Let the glass fall to your feet in front of you while you continue the "cover" of napkins.
- Now the highlight: you hit - preferably connected with a magic spell - on the napkins with the supposed glass underneath.
- The effect: the glass has dissolved in air. It is important with this trick that nobody stands to the side of you, otherwise he could see you drop the glass. In addition, it is of course advisable not to use a high table. A carpet underneath not only protects against noise, but also against glass breakage.
Magic trick with a missing coin
You will probably have to practice this magic trick a little until it works perfectly.
- Take a coin between your index finger and thumb. Show the coin to the audience with the palm facing you.
- Now, with the other hand - also pointing the palm of your hand towards you - pass in front of this hand and pretend that you are taking the coin with you.
- But you don't. Instead, drop the coin into the palm of the hand that you used to hold the coin and keep it hidden there.
- Now you can - of course with a bit of fancy - show your hand openly in magician manner, with which you supposedly took your coin with you when you passed.
- Since it is empty, you have magically "disappeared" the coin.
