Create schedule in Excel - Here's how
The Office.com templates in MS Excel make it easy to create a schedule. Here you have the choice between a vacation schedule, a shift schedule or an office cleaning schedule.
Create a schedule using Excel templates
- After you have opened an empty Excel document, go to the "File" tab in the menu bar (see screenshot).
- On the left side you will see a list in which you click on "New".
- Now all Office.com templates provided by Excel are displayed. Here you open the folder labeled "Schedules".
- Click on the "Business plans" subfolder that opens. Here are eight patterns for schedules.
- Select the desired one and click on the "Download" button on the right under the preview function (see screenshot).
Please note that you can only download the templates while your PC is connected to the Internet.
The instructions refer to Microsoft Excel 2010. For a project plan you will also find a template of the "Gantt Projects" in our download area.
