Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Defeat Ganon's Thunder Curse
In this article, we'll explain how to defeat Ganon's thunder curse in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Defeat Ganon's Thunder Curse - the first phase
In Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you have to free four titans from the curses of ganons. One of them is Ganon's Thunder Curse, which causes Vah Naboris, the Titan of the Gerudos, to go crazy. Here's how you beat him:
- In the first phase of the fight, Ganon's thunder curse repeatedly attacks you with lightning-fast attacks.
- It is advisable to block the boss's attacks with your shield. You can dodge at the right moment and do great damage to your enemy in slow motion mode, but you need the right timing, which is especially difficult in this boss fight.
- If you have successfully blocked Ganon's thunder curse attack, the boss remains motionless for a few seconds. Now you can try to hit it a couple of times, reducing its health bar.
- Also, you can always paralyze the boss with the stasis module for a few moments to be able to meet him in close combat.
- A special attack during the first phase is the ball lightning, which Ganon's thunder curse releases on you. You should avoid this because you lose both your sword and shield when you hit it.
- If you have stolen half of the boss's life points, the fight moves on to the second phase.
Defeat Ganon's Thunder Curse - the second phase
In the second phase, Ganon's curse of thunder changes its attack pattern significantly. In the following we explain how you should behave:
- In the second phase, Ganon's thunder curse always hovers in the upper levels of the Boss arena.
- From time to time he summons several iron posts, which he rams into the ground. He then gradually charges it with electricity to cause damage within a certain radius.
- To do great damage to Ganon's thunder escape, grab one of the iron stakes with your magnet module and place it in the air above the boss. If the electricity shoots through the pole, the boss gets out of balance and falls to the ground.
- Once there, he changes his attack pattern to that from the first phase, only that his attacks can no longer be blocked by a metal sign because he has been charged with electricity.
- After a while, the electricity effect wears off and you can use the usual tactics to damage the boss.
