Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Defeat Ganon's Wind Curse
In this article, we'll explain how to defeat Wind Curse in Zelda: Breath of the Wild Ganons.
Defeat Ganon's Wind Curse - The First Phase
Ganon's Wind Curse is the boss you have to defeat to free the titan Vah Medoh from his curse in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Read here how you can beat him:
- The fight begins at the top level of the Titan, which is very free and offers little protection. You should therefore memorize suitable retreat options before the fight begins.
- Ganon's wind curse can release two different attacks on you in the first phase of the fight: The first attack is a whirlwind that follows you and cannot be blocked by a shield. Here you should just run away until the whirlwind disappears. During the second attack, Ganon's Wind Curse shoots five projectiles at a time. You can block them all with the shield without getting any damage.
- After Ganon's Wind Curse has carried out such an attack, it sinks to the ground and does not move for a short time. This is your chance to harm the boss.
- If you take advantage of the updrafts, soar with your sail, and shoot arrows into the eye of Ganon's wind curse in the air, the boss will sink to the ground after the third hit, where you can cause damage in close combat.
- If you have subtracted half of his life points from Ganon's wind curse, the fight moves to the second phase.
Defeat Ganon's Wind Curse - The Second Phase
In this section we explain how you should behave in the second phase of the boss fight against Ganon's wind curse:
- In the second phase, Ganons Windlfuch's attacks are significantly stronger and more dangerous.
- Instead of a whirlwind, he instantly summons two that are chasing you. Run as fast and as far away as possible, as there is no other way to fend off this attack.
- In addition, the projectiles that the boss shoots at you are much more dangerous, bounce off objects and cause great damage. Here it is advisable to skilfully avoid or to hide behind a pillar.
- Last but not least, the boss creates four little helpers, who circle him and fire at you with laser beams should you get too close to him.
- The strategy in this phase of the fight remains the same: Shoot the boss's eye in the air, causing him to fall so that you can do more damage to the ground.
