Zelda: Breath of the Wild - defeat Ganon
In this article, we'll explain how to defeat the Ganon devastation in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Defeat the Ganon devastation - The first phase
The Devastation Ganon is the final boss in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The boss fight is one of the most difficult in Link's new adventure and should only be tackled by you once you have calmed all the titans and found good equipment. The fight against the final boss then takes place as follows:
- In the first phase of the fight, the devastation likes to attack Ganon with her flame sword, which she swings at you horizontally and vertically. To avoid these attacks, jump to the side or backwards at the right moment.
- Make sure that the blow from above is carried out faster than the side. Once you have empathized with the timing of the blows, you can try to counter them.
- In addition, the devastation attacks Ganon again and again with the three arms that grow out of her back. These attacks can also be avoided with simple evasive maneuvers to the side or to the rear.
- As soon as you have drained a few life points from the final boss, he climbs along the walls of the arena and takes turns shooting at you with blocks of ice and fireballs.
- While you can blow up the ice blocks with the cryo module, it is advisable to shoot the fireballs with a bomb arrow from a safe distance.
- If you have already done some damage to the Ganon devastation, it will begin to fire lasers at you. You can simply avoid it, or counter it with the shield. This puts the boss out of action for a short time.
- If you don't like countering and avoiding, you can also take enough bomb arrows or antique arrows with you to damage the boss.
Defeat the Ganon devastation - The second phase
Once you've drained three-quarters of your life energy from the Ganon devastation, the battle moves on to the second phase. Here the boss creates a strong protective shield, which you cannot penetrate with normal attacks. We explain how to do it.
- There are two ways to damage the final boss at this stage: perfect evasion and counterattack.
- Dodging an attack perfectly triggers the slow-motion effect that can damage Ganon.
- Parry his laser beam and direct him to the boss, so the boss pierces his protective shield and you can cause him damage.
Defeat the Devastation Ganon - The Demon Beast
Once you've defeated the second phase of the Ganon devastation, the boss turns into a giant boar-like creature that you must fight in front of Hyrule Castle.
- Although the demon beast looks like a strong opponent, it quickly turns out to be a lazy monster.
- Before the fight, Zelda will give you the arc to fire at the demon beast.
- Always ride around the beast and wait for circles of light to appear on its body. Then shoot light arrows into these circles.
- After a few hits, the final target will be revealed, which you have to pierce to defeat the demon beast.
