Adobe Reader: Clear history - how it works
If you want to delete the history in Adobe Reader, you will not find a suitable function in the program itself. In this guide, we show you how to proceed instead.
Clear history in Adobe Reader
- Simultaneously press the [Windows] and [R] keys to open the "Execute" command.
- Enter "regedit" here and confirm with "OK". Then the registry editor opens.
- Now open the following path on the left: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Adobe \ Acrobat Reader \ 11.0 \ AVGeneral \ cRecentFiles
- If you have opened the last folder "cRecentFiles", delete all keys contained on the right side.
- Close the window and restart Adobe Reader, the history is no longer visible.
In the next practical tip, we will show you how to save individual pages with Adobe Reader.
